I have the same issues. Just keep trying. Eventually you'll beat out those old bad habits

I need to bring a notebook with me to write down everything I eat. By the time I get to post, it's been too long and I'm bound to forget something. Yesterday, I didn't exercise, but I started out this morning with my mini-workout to make sure I get back in the right mindset. I also had trouble resisting all those freebie candies yesterday. I was doing fairly well until the afternoon and then when I got home I found my well meaning mother had left us a few leftovers. Luckily, it was only a small amount.

So this is what I remember eating ...
B - WW Bagel with EarthBalance and fruit spread. Soymilk.
S - Pretzels and Diet Coke.
    S - Pumpkin Seeds
L - Garlicky taters, kale w/ onions, refried black beans, strawberries and raspberries.
    S - Banana and blueberries.
S - I gave in and had 2 pieces of taffy and a lollypop. Oops!
D - Baked beans, sweet potato, salad of romaine, green cabbage, red cabbage, kale, sunflower seeds, apple, and asian dressing.
S - The chocolate won out and I had 3 mini bars with a glass of soymilk.
S - Another unfortunate attack of the munchies ... pretzels and a Diet Coke.

I also had lots of water to drink throughout the day. Obviously, there's much room for improvement in terms of mindless snacking and soda, but I'm happy with all the fruits and veggies I consumed.

I would like to play, please!

My current goals for the month are another 10 pounds off, and get my eating habits back under controll in the area of sweets and processed foods.
I was doing well in those areas for awhile, but fell back into the trap a couple of weeks ago. (I rediscovered Pop Tarts, unfortunately) Also: quite buying foods that send me on an eating spree.

Welcome newcomers!! Today was "legs day" at the gym and we were tired for some reason but made it through all the machines except one which we decided to skip because our legs were shaking. We did manage to do 30 minutes on the treadmill for our daily cardio though. I have been trying to cut back on my unhealthy food snacking this week and have eaten apples and grapes instead.

Tonight is typically my day off but I was going to do some cardio. Well my husband got a job after 7 months of being laid off and we are going to celebrate! I am so dang happy, no workout tonight but plenty of happiness!

That sounds so delicious! Care to share what the Asian dressing was? I am looking to find a really good Asian dressing. And well, I was thinking of the Newman's Own Sesame Ginger dressing, since that is the only one available in stores. But I am not a big fan of ginger, so I think it may be overpowering after looking at the ingredients. Since it's quite expensive, the poor student side of me kicked in, and I never got it.

Anyways, thus far, I'm using Renee's Asian Sesame for my stir frys, but it does have a lot of calories for one tablespoon - I think 45 cals or so.

Oh my goodness, you know what I did? I purchased 15lbs of apples last week. I eat apples everyday! Yes, I'm just that hardcore. But the week before, I was so stressed out with midterms that I had roughly 10lbs of apples eaten in one week. Apples are addicting, and so are grapes!

So I got up this morning and did level 1 of the Shred (for those that haven't heard of it, its a dvd by Jillian Michaels from the biggest loser). It was pretty easy for me so I might have to do level 2 tomorrow morning. As for tonight....I didn't go to the gym since I got off work late. I'll have to make it up tomorrow. I did stick to my diet...even though there is a cheesecake in the fridge as we speak calling my name but I keep trying to ignore it. Hope everyone had a great day!

Hard core. Apples? Get it? LOL. I'm sorry, I thought that was hilarious.

Y'all are doing GREAT! Such inspirations. Today I walked all over campus and then DBF and I hit the mall in search of humidifier filters which seemed like another mile.

Foodwise doing well. Had Panda Express eggplant and tofu. Delicious.

    Still haven't weighed myself.

Haha, I totally get it! Oh my gosh, that totally just made my evening, haha!
