I've been eating regular, getting my walking in, and doing my crunches and the scale goes UP two pounds. Is it not enough that I had been STUCK at 143 for the past three weeks. pffft- whatever. Right now, I feel my body is at a plateau and REFUSES to go any lower with the same routine I've been doing.
I'm stuck and it sucks...sorry to be a debbie downer.
I can so relate!! I have been stuck at the same weight for about a month now, or maybe more, I tend to lose track. Plateaus suck big time. I am hoping that by cutting back on the junk this week, I can kick start my body into losing again. I am exercising like crazy! (Though today we didn't go to the gym, and I feel crappy about that) Hang in there!

    Way to go, everyone!!

Definitely know what you mean with the snacking. I snack because I don't want to do work, haha.

Since becoming a vegetarian, I've lost 5 pounds! My goal for this month is to start exercising everyday (walking to work and coming home and using my Wii Fit Plus for a half-hour) and to lose about 3 more pounds. I'm currently at 180 and want to be down to 177 by the end of the month

Okay- so tonight I will begin working out to this cardio fitness video I have. It fuses dance with the cardio. I tried it last year but fell out of it. Right now I don't have the time to go to a gym each day. Between work and school it's not an option. So my home is my personal gym- and it's time to PUMP IT UP-lol. Like I said before I can't lead a non active life (and just restrict calories) and think that's enough. I LIKE TO EAT-lol. Maybe some intense cardio will get my body out of this plateau- we'll see. Wish me luck.

Hello everyone. Sorry I haven't been around the last few days. I'm at DS's place taking care of my Baby GS for a few weeks. DS had surgery today and won't be able to take care of the baby when he gets home. My DIL teaches piano evenings so I'm now the official baby lifter during that time. But that's not why I haven't been here. When I got here at DS's I tried to log on and I forgot my password and just remembered it today. Ha, ha. If you wait long enough for things to process in the brain you'll eventually remember what it was you forgot. I'm pretty sleepy and tired right now so I haven't even read the previous posts but will try and catch up by the weekend if Baby allows me that privilege.

Good luck CKR, I am sure you can do it.

Isabella, I hope your DS is ok and she has a speedy recovery.

Welcome FlipFlop! good luck on your goals.

So tonight I did 30 minutes following a step DVD. It was intense and just what I needed. I am really burnt out from the gym so I am doing weight, cardio and yoga DVD's right now until I miss the gym. Oh and I run outside if it is not to hot out.

As a new full-veggie, I'm think I'm going to focus on this new lifestyle (which I've done before, but not for a while) and see where it takes me healthwise. I already have more energy, so I'm going to take advantage of that, get up and move!

My current weight is 146. (I'm 5'8".) By the end of the month, I'd like to be at 140. (It's still early enough that this is doable at 2 pounds a week.)

    Good luck, everybody!

Welcome newcomers! We skipped the gym yesterday and it is funny how I felt tired and cranky all day. I guess I am a gym addict!! Today we got back to do our abs and cardio on the treadmills. I am hoping for a good weigh-in tomorrow!!

Hello! I am trying to lose some weight, but I don't know what else to do! So please help me out, guys.

I'm 5 foot 3, around 145 now (I've put on a few lbs.). YUCK! I've started cutting my bread in half in the morning and cutting back on snacks and NO LIQUOR. I only drink water aside from soymilk at breakfast. But so far I've lost NOTHING!!! And it's been 3 weeks.

Here is what I usually eat in a day:

B- half a piece of bread w/almond butter, soymilk, a kiwi and a persimmon
L- Clif Bar (no time to eat)
D- some sort of beans and grain mix, a salad
Snack- 1 cookie and 1 small cup of sherbert

What else can I do? I can't join the gym right now but I walk everywhere, at least 30 min. a day.
