    Soyatoo Rice Whip

I just got a can of Soyatoo Rice Whip from Whole Paycheck. It's not bad if you really love rice milk. It does taste exactly like rice milk, which I am not especially fond of, but for rice milk fans, or people who hate the taste of soy, this is a pretty good alternative to canned whipped cream. I think i prefer the soy whip.

The rice whip is much harder to dispense though. It took a lot of hard shaking to get the contents down to the nozzle, unlike the soy whip, which is very easy to dispense. maybe I just got a bad can, I don't know. It is also a bit stiffer than the soy whip, but not unpleasantly so.

Good to know, thanks for sharing. I was looking at this in the store the other day. I don't get along well with soy so I like having alternatives

I bought some a few weeks ago. I liked it on my pumpkin pie, but when I went to eat it without something or even on my chocolate pudding I couldn't stand the taste of it.

I agree, it is really hard to dispense though. The can says to leave out for 10 minutes to let it warm up a bit.

I bought some of this recently. I haven't decided if I like it yet. I've only been able to use it once or twice. I tried to use it on some tofu pudding last night, but I gave up because it was so hard to get the stuff out! That is so frustrating.

Following the instructions on the can, it worked exactly like a can of Redi-Whip. I think it needs to be sweeter with a stronger vanilla flavor. It did pretty much taste like whipped rice milk. Which isn't bad... and adds a nice touch to desserts, but a sweeter more vanilla-y flavor would be better. It's DEFINITELY better than the soy.

Even with following the instructions on the can (storing it upside down, taking it out to warm up ahead of time, etc.), it still was difficult to get it out. I don't know what I did wrong. Oh well. It's still in the fridge (upside down). Maybe I'll try it again soon.
